Geneva: United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday warned that North Korea appeared to be on a collision course with the international community and that could lead to war.
Ban said in Andorra that “the current crisis has already gone too far” because of rising tensions following North Korea’s daily threats of war. The targets of these threats have been the United States and South Korea. The UN chief said international negotiations are urgently needed but he is “convinced that no one intends to attack” North Korea.
