New Delhi: Oil marketing companies on Monday decided to cut petrol price by 85 paise per litre, another cut in prices after the Rs 2 deduction last month.
While petrol price has been cut by 85 paise per litre, excluding local sales tax or VAT, there will be no change in diesel rates.
After the reduction, price of petrol in Delhi from midnight tonight will cost Rs 67.29 per litre a deduction of Rs 1.02 from its current price of Rs 68.31.
In Kolkata, petrol will cost Rs 74.72, while Chennai and Mumbai will pay Rs 70.34 and Rs 74.14, respectively.
